...contract? because i want to switch to bt as i get 2 mobile for 35 pound a month instead of paying around £100 a month for two

I want to cancel mine with O2 and they said that i would have to continue paying the line rental until it rang out which is in Oct so i guess i will have to wait

A legal contract is very hard to get out of, thats why companies like them.

Usually you will be able to cancel at any time.

However, if you have broken your agreement then you are likely to be charged for the months that you have outstanding on your contract.

You will have to read your contract to get more precise info.
