my website would not work on javascript, what is causing the the problem?

i have website when ever i try to add any javascript code it would not work on IE but works fine with all other browsers
can anyone help me with that
i use joomla CMS.

Hi, firstly have you got ie 7.0 and the latest java? try downloading those 1st. secondly, ebsure there are no script errors in your code. other than that im not sure.
