How can I enable Javascript in my computer?

Some websites aren't working and they say I have to have Flash Player 8, which I already have, and the also say I have to have Javascript enabled. How do I do that?

With the above answer in mind, be aware that Java is not at all the same as Javascript.
You can enable Javascript on Firefox by going into Options-Content and ticking the Enable Javascript box.
On IE just make sure your security settings under your preferences (see Internet Options in your Control Panel) are set to medium rather than high.

Assuming you're using internet explorer, which you probably are. There's a menu at the top of your web browser. (the window you're reading this in)
One of those words is Tools
Click on it, then click Internet Options
Click on the tab that says Advanced
Scroll down about halfway and make sure the box is checked that says "Use JRE..... or Java" (Requires restart)
If it's not checked. Check it., then click ok at the bottom of that box. Allow your computer to restart, and everything should probably work. If that box was checked, maybe your parents installed some kind of firewall that blocked java content or something. (or perhaps your internet provider)
