How do I install a Mozilla in my Linux?

I have just installed a Kubuntu Linux OS in my PC. However, it doesn't seem to have a Mozilla web browser with it. I have to download one from the web.

However, after downloading it, how do I install it? How do I also create an icon on my Desktop for it so that I can click on it and use the Mozilla?

I was told Ubuntu Linux may not be as advanced as Kubuntu Linux, but it is cetainly easier to understand and everything is neatly installed and ready to be used for the user.

How do I install a copy of Mozilla in the system and how do I create an icon for it in my Desktop?
Please, can someone explain to me step by step?

kubuntu IS ubuntu. it just used the kde window manager instead of the gnome window manager.

Look for ADEPT PACKAGE MANAGER in your menu.

Use it to search for the software you want to install.

It will install it for you.
