Please can any one advise how to remove predictive text from my mobile phone thanks

well i have a motorola w370..i think u go to the texting inbox and click send text message and then if theres an options button click it...Or if something at the top says "abc" or "T9" if it says abc then predictive txt is off. if it says t9 then its still on.
