Motorola L6 unregistered sim?

I haven't used it for about 6 months, so I think the network is deactivated or something. I tried removing the sim then putting it back in but to no avail. It just says unregistered sim all the time, I can access my pictures and videos but not call people.

your pictures and messages are more than likely stored onto the handset which is why you can access them, if you call the network that the simcard was registered to they should be able to activate it for you using the simcard number, Orange didnt charge for reactivation but i know that when a friend called t mobile they wanted £15 to reactivate, if they want to charge you then it would prob be cheaper to just buy a new sim card and register that.

If a sim card isnt used for a period of time and it varies network to network they do disconnect them and then after a another period of time the number is then reused so you need to use it every few months to keep it activated.
