motorola slvr screen gone blank?

the phone works ok,but my screen has gone blank. whats wrong with it, and is it fixable.

First, see if your keys will light up when you turn your phone on. If so, it could be just the LCD. This may be eligible for a warranty exchange. If the light doesn't come on, open up the back of the phone and pop out the battery. Check the liquid indicators for red or even pink color. It means that you have liquid damage and may have to do an insurance claim.
