Where can I recycle old mobile phone in the UK?

I have a few mobile phones that I will not use anymore. There is nothing wrong with them. Is there a charity for - let say abused women or else - which needs free mobiles?
I'd prefer them to be given to somebody needy who can still use them rather than just sold by some company.

Tesco's usually have envelopes to put your old phones in and send away.
If you want to send it more directly to a charity, try EarthMobile

at tescos i think you can get a charity bag especial for mobiles and when you post it to the charity they'll send you £5 for it too.
