I need a mobile phone sim card, I live in Portugal and I am going to UK for 6 weeks?

I need a no contract sim to put in my phone for 6 weeks to avoid roaming charges, over here you can buy vodafone sim cards for 5 euro from a garage will 5 euro on in calls , no address required or bank details and you top it up via the ATM,
Is there a similar system over there I only want the card for 6 weeks
