Why do people expect my mobile phone ....?

to be carried around by me 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, always switched on and ready to be answered by me about unimportant things immediately?

I had 3 voice messages and 5 text messages this morning from people who had been calling me yesterday and were obviously getting very upset they couldn't speak to me when they wanted to.

Why don't people like that get a life and try switching their phones off for a day in order to achieve that?

i know what you mean . the company i work for wanted my mobile number( incase we need to contact you out of work hours ) i refused saying " if i aint in work getting paid , then you dont contact me! " the boss thinks i am wrong but TOUGH !!
