Default Isn't it surprising how brave the politicians are when they don't have their

children in the armed forces? With all these sabre-rattling and aggressive comments (which over the days will get even more aggressive) isn't it about time our 'leaders' showed true commitment by saying that they are themselves willing to lead us into battle again - rather than sending other peoples' sons and daughters to follow up on their 'brave' words.

"The Prime Minister described Russia's incursion into Georgia as a completely unjustified violation of Georgia's territorial integrity. Russian forces must withdraw immediately," Mr Brown's spokesman said.

In his weekly radio address, Mr Bush says: "The world has watched with alarm as Russia invaded a sovereign neighbouring state and threatened a democratic government elected by its people.
"This act is completely unacceptable to the free nations of the world.
"And it is essential that America and other free nations ensure that an embattled democracy seeking to stand with us remains sovereign, secure and undivided."

It's a load of sabre rattling and posturing! There is no Great Britain anymore we just have a load of gutless wonders in Westminster and they don't frighten anyone - we're the laugh of europe stuck with this shambling nonentity Brown!

It'd be different if one of their own children were killed.

And of course the rest of the world cowered in fear as America storm trooped into Iraq.
Yes, it'd be nice to see the Pollies fighting the wars rather than having the young people of their countries do it for them....
