Python's.. who here has one? Have you ever heard of this kind of thing??
my mate was up the other night and was telling me about her bosses pal in Edinburgh - anyways, her parents (she is South African) bought her a large python snake which she had for a few months and which lived in a tank in the living room..
Anyways, she used to feed it dead rodents etc and then one day it stopped eating.. after it had not eaten for a good while she called the vet and as this is outwith his direct experience he said he would get back to her..
Then when she was lying down, dunno if it was the same day or when, but the next thing she said was when the lass was lying down she woke up to find the python lying straight up and down next to her..
She thought it was odd as it had never done this before - put it back in tank and when the vet rang she told him, he told her to get out of the flat.. she did this and he told her he thought that the snake was weighing her up as its next meal, that's why it had been fasting and measuring her etc..
Obviously hear say but story did freak me out - and friend of mine is very reliable - yeuch..hate snakes..
Yeah - thanks guys - probably is just an urban myth..
