Will This Website/Software Earn Me Money?

Ive been giving this link by a friend and he has told me to sign up. Ive read through the website and it says things that I dont quite understand but the basics of it are to have software running in your background and you will get paid each month for it.

Do these actually work? He told me they have paid him around £5-£10 per month for doing nothing!
Isnt much but for doing nothing it's better than nothing I suppose!
Ive just spoken to him on MSN and he has shown me a screenshot of his paypal payment that he had from myhpf.
The greenhorse one he told me he received a cheque and that he will show me it on the weekend when I see him, Ill let you know if I see it or not!
