Is there a free game recording software?

I want to record my gameplay on my computer games and i cannot find a free one anywhere can someone help me please
Can Camtasia record gameplay videos, I already have one but it doesn't record audio from the game

the one i use is called fraps but i had to download it from a torrent
Only problem with the fraps I'm using is that it does not record audio from the games, and i have set it to record audio but it doesn't work

it recorded the sound on the trail version, it's just the full version that won't record sound, can someone help me

ok i think its called"Screen Recording"! try camstudio 2.5 beta!^_^ its wut i use to record my pc screen for my help vids! it has a hotkey option so u can start up ur pc game then hit keyboard keys that u assign to start recording,stop,pause,etc...

Fraps is a good video recorder, the only one that doesnt lag me. I suggest getting the FULL version from a torrent, can make it way easier in the long run..

Fraps has a free version that has a watermark and a record limit. It's full version does not have a watermark or a record limit. www.fraps.com
