Norton Internet Security 2009

Does anybody know of the date for the UK release of Norton Internet Security 2009 and if i upgrade will it automatically put on new version

I'd listen to the guy who really tried to advise you on it.
I was advised by my son's computer teacher to use Norton, and the more I use it and see just what it can and does do, the more I like it!

dont dont dont, norton is terrible, they havn't been any good for years and every year they get worse, download AVG free anti virus instead

Nope. But Norton is now, and always will be the worst heaps of cr4p you can isntall on your PC.

its more controlling and annoyoing than most of the spyware it purports to prevent (but doesnt)

With more time in the IT field then most ( 20 + years ) Few programs have I come to hate more then Norton Antivirus / Security suite . IT is nothing more then bloated software that does nothing more then slow down your pc There is not a week that goes by that I am not called to a clients location to fix a issue that was either caused by or should of been stopped by Norton

I don't know but its a real change the new one. Its till a little buggy but I was trying the internet security on my old PC. Which is low spec and it was really fast. Its install time is smaller as well. Its scan time about the same. Its a real big improvement. And I have liked all the previous versions.

Well the beta trial ends 23rd of September 2008 so I guess at the start of October?
