camera memory cards?

just bought a camera and want to get a memory card for it. in the instructions it says the following card is available to this camera : standard sd card 8mb-2gb. if i get a card that is only 1gb would i still be able o use it,

Yeaa Ofcourse Bro But Remember It Will Be SD Card Not Mini SD or Micro SD. Because There Are Many Types Of Memory Cards In Market like Mini SD, Micro SD Etc. So Take Care Bro

yep that will be fine it wont hold so many pics as a 2gb one but it will hold loads depending on the size and quality you save them at.
