Visual Basic 6 (not .net) compatible log in with MS Biometric Finger Print Reader?

I have made a log in on a programme im making for network security called Securizone, designed for Internet Cafes

Programme allows the administrator to control access to My Computer, Control Panel, Printers, Ms-Dos etc etc

But also sets a time limit or session
Once it expires the person is automatically logoff
(Not restarting the pc or shutdown)

Now I have a biometrics keyboard and for extra security I thought I could instruct it to perform a log on. but it fails to recognise it as an Internet Page log in or Microsoft programme log in (IE: MSN, Windows Live, Windows Log in)

So what must I do so that Microsoft Fingerprint reader can recognise the textboxes and log in fields (PS: Already got PWD chars set)
