Need help with visual basic 2008 and Access?

i am making a library management program in visual basic 2008 and i want to know how i can retrieve selected data from an Access database.

The form has 4 text boxes for title, author, publisher, isbn and a button "search" which i click when i have entered the info in the textboxes.

Also how do i display the info?

PS i hav manage to display the whole database on a form as a list but could not display selected data only. Plz Help!

For Access you would need to create a form which features all the data fields that you have, this way all of the information will be featured in your form, also use the wizard to make sure that you have all the information shown

from tools add a bindingsource and set the data source to that of your database. then add a datagridview set its datasource to the bindingsource. then use bindingsource.filter = "fistname = " & txtbox.text * " and lastname = " & txtbox.text.
something like that.
