Should the UK Government just hold it's hands up and say we can't afford to
host the Olympics...? ...and be done with it? Is it really wise to continue with the plans to host the Olympic games in the middle of an economic downturn that looks like it's going to get worse? Should we prioritise our spending on essentials to the UK people such as lowering taxes on food and fuel and just admit this a luxury we can't afford?
